In the last of our five part series of women researchers, Mary Adut Achiek gives us an insight into women leaders in Warrap State where she did her research. She tells the real life stories of women who are tasked with leadership roles. Women leaders in Warrap are navigating cultural sensibilities that have a specific lace for a woman, and pushing the boundaries on the progressive roles that women play in society. The five-part series has been an International Women's Day collaboration with the South Sudan Women Researchers' Network programme of the Rift Valley Institute, supported by the European Union Delegation in South Sudan.
