Keeping South Sudan Children in Class: WFP's School Feeding Programme

The UN World Food Programme (WFP)'s School Feeding Project targeting 400 000 children is providing local nutritious meals to school children and keeping the classes going on. The WFPs Aachal Chand who is Head of Nutrition and School Feeding and Kenyi Kennedy, Programme Associate School Feeding Programme tell Radio Miraya that access to education in places where there is food insecurity also protects girls from early marriage. The programme has a far reaching impact in the communities.
