Attending An Audio Described Fashion Show
Season 2, Episode 364, Feb 22, 12:10 PM
This year's London Fashion Week saw accessibility and inclusivity take centre stage with a special runway show.
London-based non-profit organisation Hair & Care, in collaboration with Authentic Beauty Concept, Olivia Garden and Easydry worked with Sinéad O’Dwyer fashion show to provide audio description on the day as well as a special touch tour beforehand.
Disability advocate and fashion icon in her own right, Claire Sisk from Can See Can't See, attended the event and told our Paulina all about it.
Image shows Claire standing outside in front of a 'London Fashion Week' banner. She's holding her white cane, her long blonde hair is flowing gently down her shoulders and she's smiling. Her fashion week outfit is: a fluffy black coat that she is wearing open with a black fitted turtleneck underneath and a pleated grey mini skort with a slim black belt. She accessorised her outfit with a pair of over the knee black socks and a long pendant necklace.
