World Radio Day: BBC Media Action taking radio to unreachable communities in South Sudan

There are places in South Sudan that still do not have access to radio stations because of lack of transmission equipment that covers them. The BBC Media Action is doing something about this. The organization is taking radio to these areas through its community outreach programme. From radio dramas to listening group discussions, the BBC Media Action tackles important issues that in South Sudan communities including educating girls and combatting gender based violence.
