Step Change Studios Opportunity to Dance and Compete at Blackpool Tower Ballroom

Step Change Studios have funding to take 10 blind and partially sighted students to the Open Worlds competition at the home of ballroom dancing the Blackpool Tower Ballroom on 12 may 2024.
This is the first time blind and partially sighted students have had the opportunity to compete at the Open Worlds in Blackpool and Step Change Studios will be running classes for visually impaired people every weekend leading up to the open worlds in May.
RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey was joined by Dr Rashmi Becker MBE, Founder of Step Change Studios to find out more about not only Step Change Studios but the classes they will be running leading up to the Open Worlds on 12 May 2024 and an insight into what it might be like to dance on that famous dance floor at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
