The Government’s Access to Work scheme which supports disabled people in work will be going digital this year enabling blind and partially sighted people to make their ATW applications and claims online which will hopefully help to speed up the whole process.

RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey was joined by Roisin Jacklin, RNIB Policy Officer to explain more about the digitalisation of the Access to Work application process and what this will mean for blind and partially sighted people applying and claiming Access to Work support.

There is more information about the Access to Work scheme, it helps to support blind and partially sighted people in employment on the following pages of the RNIB website and if you have any questions at all about employment you can always speak to someone by calling the RNIB Helpline on 0303 123 9999 - https://www.rnib.org.uk/living-with-sight-loss/equality-and-employment/information-for-jobseekers/access-to-work/
