On the afternoon of April 21, 2016, Martin Roberts, a 19 year old college student, was last seen walking away from a bus stop near the intersection of Hardin Street and Rivers Street in Boone, North Carolina. An investigation into Martin’s disappearance revealed that he left a note in his bedroom, stating he was “leaving everyone behind”. However, the note didn’t mention any plans to harm himself. Despite a thorough investigation, Martin has never been located. It’s been almost eight years since he went missing, and investigators continue their search for him…

He has a tattoo of three mountains on his left inner forearm and a Bob Marley song quote over his right rib cage, which reads, “Don’t gain the world and lose your soul; wisdom is better than silver or gold”.
