Encounters With The Fae

Jan 04, 06:00 PM

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives, the guys start the show off by talking about their New Year's Eve as well as some upcoming vacations. Next, a person in Lancashire, UK is stared down by a tall clawed crawler. Then, a hunter in Washington believes he was tracked by a Bigfoot or perhaps even 2 Bigfeet while out Elk hunting.

After the break, the boys get into some remarkable sightings of Fae Folk. Fairies have become iconic figures in films and television. Still, beyond the realm of fantasy, numerous purported sightings of these mystical beings have been reported throughout the ages in Britain, Ireland, North America, and more. While much of the lore surrounding the collective term 'fairies' is steeped in legend and myth, many accounts persist from individuals who claim direct encounters with fairies and their enchanting activities, spanning both ancient and modern eras. Remarkably, some reports come from individuals of reputable social standing, asserting that they have witnessed or engaged with creatures unmistakably resembling fairies. Whether one chooses to embrace these accounts or not, they serve as illustrative examples of the diverse perceptions people held about fairies at different points in history. Accounts of fairy experiences, predominantly from the twentieth century, originate from a wide spectrum of individuals, including business professionals, housewives, journalists, clergymen, bus drivers, anglers, gypsies, schoolteachers, university professors, soldiers, artists, authors, poets, musicians, sculptors, actresses, and many others. So what do you think? Are the Fae real?
