The Aurora Borealis Youth Center Retreat

I was starting to lose track of time, trying to submerge more of myself into the water as the night went on, and the temperature dropped. Aurora told me I was making it worse, so I slumped down on rock hard ground, pulled my legs to my chest to conserve body heat, and allowed my dizzy thoughts to drift.
It sounded like the perfect vacation. That's what I thought, drinking in each face in front of me, our small huddle of shadows around a slowly dying fire.
