Reality and beyond

"The interpretation of the Cathédrale Saint-Étienne in Toulouse describes various temporal and spatial layers of the atmosphere. Acoustic interventions forwards and backwards and moments of pausing create an expansion of reality, which is partially freed from everyday life and functionality by surreal elements and voices. The result is a maelstrom of reality, in which many things become audible that would otherwise remain hidden. A place is more than just its physical, external reality - it is a space of possibilities made up of different voices, interpretations and spatio-temporal processes."
