Let's begin again – dawn

"Inspired by birdsong at dawn and the sounds of nature, we created this sound media capsule to remind us that sound can be used to tell tales and sell dreams. Nature communicates with us - if we just listen.
We embedded the sound of pipes singing with the wind – air blowing through metal – making a sound which wrapped itself around the birdsong.
These pipes are part of an installation sculpture that we found in a Southbank London festival during the autumn. The sound of the wind blowing against a manmade material made a conversation, which at the time we felt we could understand.
Our last addition was a hurdy-gurdy, which was part of a concert that we are involved in. Its incredible ancient sound seemed to flow from another era.
Our sound media represents nature and the relationship that we have with it. We need to nurture that relationship.
Dawn is the beginning of a new chance. Let's begin again."
