Bruce Golden from Lamontville, NY. He had a dream since the age of 12 of riding his 10-speed bike from Kingston to Los Angeles and finally did it in 1982 when he was a teacher at Rondout Valley Middle School. He tells about it in his Book Bicycle Dreams.
