The interim chair of the Reconstituted Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission, Charles Tai Gituai's speech at R-JMEC's plenary

The Reconstituted Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission – R-JMEC, is calling on the government to release the funds necessary for the newly reconstituted bodies to carry out their mandates effectively. 

Addressing the monthly plenary meeting of parties and stakeholders to the peace agreement in Juba, the interim chair of R-JMEC, Charles Tai Gituai said the facilitation of the National Elections Commission, The Political Parties Council, and the National Constitutional Review Commission is essential to the opening of civic space and the conduct of free and fair elections planned for December next year.
