"Crown of Midnight" and The Trope That Must Not Be Named

We are back to Sarah J. Maas' Throne of Glass series with "Crown of Midnight," book two in the tale. It's pretty much a two-book set up to the rest of the series, so is it worth it to be stuck in the prologue so long?
