World Food Day: Water is Life, Water is Food. Leave No One Behind

On 16th October, South Sudan joined the rest of the world in celebrating World Food Day 2023 under the international theme ‘Water is Life, Water is Food. Leave No One Behind’.
World Food Day 2023 aims to increase awareness of the significance of this issue and encourage action to guarantee that everyone has access to a nutritious diet. In addition to ensuring food security and safety, World Food Day also emphasizes fighting hunger.
This discussion focused on the significance of the day to a country like South Sudan where more than two-thirds of the population are in need of humanitarian assistance.
