"Sleeping on a ship. The thrum of the engine is the pulse of the body is the breathing of the sea. The ferry is the bourdon for a dance between cello and voice, outside and inside the body, outside and inside the skin. The title is a line from "Turbine Turns," an ode to an ocean liner by the Greek poet Andreas Embeirikos. Cello improvisations by Theo Guttenplan."

Lullaby on a ferry reimagined by Maria Margaronis.
