Mexican slumber

"I used the full recording, of what sounded like a Mexican rainforest/forest, in the morning with sounds of rain and birds. I imagined the kind of sleep being the kind when you fall back alseep after first waking up - not a deep sleep, but one that gets deeper the longer it goes. I purposely didn't 'resolve' the ending of the piece - the same way that if you listen to music before sleeping, you never get to hear the end. The composition is sparse and simple, as you would expect for a 'Music for Sleep' inspired piece - some synths, piano and violins. The original field recording was also lightly processed with some drone textures."
