A pharaoh's dance

"The fact that this was recorded in Egypt triggered thoughts of pyramids and pharoahs. The rhythmic feeling and the crackling sounds felt percussive to me so i sampled it, processed and used it as a drum track basically. The piece starts with the original recording through an alien type processor then the sampled sound kicks in. Other voices slowly join in.The slow tempo is soporific and i am visualising a small , slow dance between various parties as they try and coordinate with each other."
