Carkeek marsh

This recording was made using a hydrophone in the marsh at Carkeek Park in Seattle. The surrounding soundscape is muted as it is filtered through the water, much like thoughts in dreams. This track has always been very soothing and relaxing, with the water taking the edge off of reality.
