Rhythms: Generosity

Generosity is a rhythm that, much like hospitality, helps us to respond to Jesus’ command to love our neighbours. And yet, there is also a wonderful benefit we can experience in practicing generosity in our lives today. By looking at Jesus’ parable of the shrewd manager, we can hear Jesus challenging us to think about generosity as something that extends beyond the here and now of present situations and an earthly existence to caring for, and sharing in, the spiritual well-being and eternal future of ourselves and others.
