Outskirts of Lerouville

This recording captures the numerous flute like calls of Common Midwife Toads in an old disused quarry. The toads begin calling at dusk and when the conditions are right, continue on throughout the night. Recorded just after midnight when hundreds of toads were calling simultaneously at slightly different pitches, resulting in a beautiful soundscape.
