"This recording inspired me because it captured the sound of the wind and waves near an ancient burial site, dating back to the 4th century BC. The sounds now are the same as they were then, and this recording gives a sense of the depths of time and the gravity of history. This piece includes the ethereal singing of Danica Hoffart and the resonant tones of the wind and waves to convey a sense of peacefulness and quiet associated with a deep sleep."
