With strong numbers coming from Europe, the USA, and the United Kingdom the demand for adventure tourism experiences is rising, with diving expeditions and courses returning to circa 60% of pre-pandemic levels.
Mr. Olsen also commented on a delegation that recently traveled to Hong Kong to lobby for the return of Cathay Pacific flights to Cairns City, which could see the annual injection of $ 200 million into the local economy.
