"The original field recording of lapping waves has an extraordinary relaxing quality to it, and I was captivated by recordist Rafael Diogo's introduction to his sound: 'We all have our dreams about special places and it feels like my past self had the dream to visit Perast.'
"The composition is therefore based on the idea of a dream emerging from one's subconscious, as the waves of bass and synthesisers represent memories from one's past self, while the recordings from the wave sit underneath as a real-world counterpart, as both dream and reality coexist in this piece. A tribute to the confluence of dream and reality."
