A bed and breakfast (typically shortened to B&B or BnB) is a small lodging establishment that offers overnight accommodation and breakfast. Breakfast can be a full breakfast, a continental breakfast, or a fully stocked kitchen. Bed and breakfasts are often private family homes and typically have between four and eleven rooms, with four to six being the average.

An Airbnb is a residential property that hosts rent on a short-term basis to travelers. It can be anything from a house, a single room, a boat, or even a tree house. Think of it as pop-up accommodation – a marketplace where people rent out their properties.

We'll be talking about all types of B&Bs, including Guesthouses, Airbnb, and VRBO.
