“Psalm 71: A Life of Bedrock Faith” by Greg Chandler

Each of the psalms presents an interesting snapshot into the mind of its writer. These range from times of ebullient joy to desperation and despair. Still, they recognize God’s controlling influence and His great power over every situation. Psalm 71 was written by an old man who many believe was the aged King David. Regardless, the author pens a poem to illustrate the blessing of having God in one’s life from youth to old age. This study will highlight the importance of seeking God in youth and holding on to this faith to the final breath.
