Renk transit site flooded with people fleeing war in Khartoum.

Close to one thousand people fleeing violence in Sudan are reported to make daily crossing everyday into South Sudan. The returnees and refugees are entering the country mainly through Joda-Renk Border post in Upper Nile state.

Norwegian Refugee Council NRC Country Director, Mabonga Kennedy said on Radio Miraya a few minutes ago that the needs of the displaced is overwhelming and there are fears of water borne diseases with the start of the rainy season.
