"Bob's bar, where the sound was recorded, is central to the social scene of the city. As the week comes to an end, numerous city folks, most of whom are youngsters, occupy the tables at the bar. In this phone recording, we hear multiple conversations and youthful laughter, all merging together into a trance-like sound , as if coming out of the mouth of a giant organism. This, further merges with the sounds of car honks and traffic movement, creating quite a crowded and chaotic soundscape."
