How The Menendez Brothers May Find Freedom

Episode 51,   May 18, 2023, 10:00 AM

The Menendez Brothers, convicted for the 1989 murder of their parents, are seeking to have their convictions vacated based on new allegations of sexual abuse by their father. These allegations emerged from an NBC docuseries where a former member of the 1980s Puerto Rican boy band “Menudo” claimed he was molested by their father. The brothers also cited a recently discovered letter sent by Erik Menendez to a cousin, hinting at ongoing abuse. If these allegations are accepted as valid new evidence, they could potentially lead to a new trial and possibly, the freedom of the Menendez brothers.
