“Qohelet’s Commencement Address” by Greg Chandler

Graduation is in the air! Seniors have long since tired of their high school studies and have their focus set on receiving their diplomas. This will take place in a ceremony to honor the graduates, typically with a keynote speaker to offer encouragement. What is Qohelet was the speaker. The first question many might ask is, “Who is Qohelet? Typically translated as “the preacher” in the book of Ecclesiastes, he offers great insight into life. While this will specifically apply to our near graduates, his message is important no matter our stage of life.
