Theme to insects, amphibians and voices by a roadside

"I took a few excerpts of the wildlife sounds, treated those, then built the music up with acoustic instruments and a lo-fi kalimba sample. I was aiming to create and then process sounds to complement the ambience of the original recording, which plays throughout most of the piece, and to add my own 'creatures' into the mix. That said, I just really like frogs. I spend a quantity of time taking pictures of the denizens of my pond - @frogwatching if you are interested - but mine tend to be quieter."
