Cooking with Claud: Banana Cake

INGREDIENTS:
-- 1/4 lb of butter (room temperature)
-- 1 1/2 cups of sugar
-- 2 cups of flour
-- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
-- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
-- 2 eggs (beaten)
-- 8 tablespoons of sour cream
-- 2 teaspoons of vanilla
-- 2-4 over ripe bananas 
-- walnuts (optional)
