A Fatal Wrong Turn: 20-Year-Old Kaylin Gillis Killed in Horrifying Driveway Mix-Up, Shooter Arrested

In a tragic case of mistaken identity, 20-year-old Kaylin Gillis was shot and killed after she and three friends accidentally drove into the wrong driveway while searching for a friend's house in rural upstate New York. The shooter, 65-year-old Kevin Monahan, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder. The incident unfolded as the group, lost in the remote area with limited cellular service, turned their vehicle around upon realizing their mistake, only for Monahan to emerge from his house and fire multiple shots at them, one of which struck Gillis.
