The Umbrella Hour is presented by Dr. An, a clinical sexologist and Zander Keig, a licensed clinical social worker. This hour covers a range of topics that include identities who fall under the umbrella. The episodes cover transgenderism and intersectionalities, transsexualism and surgical procedures, gender non-conforming individuals, why hormone treatment modalities work for people but not all people, and the intersex population who move away from the diagnostic term disorders of sexual development into person-centred and self-determination. Discussions with experts in the field will range from paediatricians, endocrinologists, general practitioners, mental health providers, clergy, and those with lived experience. We define individuals with lived experience as medical and mental health professionals, parents with kids, foster, adoptees, grandparents, family members, friends, and work partners who fall under the umbrella.

An interview with Dr. Erica Anderson discussing the award-winning journalist, Hannah Barnes’ book titled Time to Think, a scandalous accounting of a child gender identity clinic.
