Population Estimate Report, Scientifically Flawed

The Managing Director of the Sudd Institute Augustino Ting Mayai says the South Sudan’s just released population estimate report could have been done better. Mayai holds a Ph.D in Sociology with a concentration on demography and development from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He says the estimate is contested and it would be risky to use it for planning or development purposes.
