IOM, Western Barh el-Ghazal state launch initiative on IDP durable solutions

A new project aimed at supporting Internally Displaced Persons to rebuild and lead normal lives has been launched in Western Barh el-Ghazal State. The 5m dollar project dubbed -- Roadmap to Displacements Solutions was launched yesterday by the the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Western Bahr el Ghazal government. The project will assist the IDPS opting for local integration by providing support such as documentation for housing, land, sanitation services, protection and health services, as well as livelihood assistance.  IOM South Sudan Head of Sub-Office Riad Marrow said the project is a major opportunity to facilitate communities to get back on their feet and reestablish their normal lives.
