We are in a housing market recession but one completely unlike 2008.

It's time to state the obvious: we are in a housing market recession. Home sales are down to their lowest levels since the Great Recession. (Yes, even lower than they were during COVID lockdowns!) And yet, if you're trying to buy in this market, it doesn't feel like a recession. Where are all the cheap houses? Where are the foreclosures? And why is it that everyone on Twitter seems so angry when talking about what's going on in the housing market?
