Letby Trial Day 4: Hospital 'Out of Its Depth' Treating Premature Babies, Defense Claims #LucyLetby #CountessOfChesterHospital

On day 4 of the Lucy Letby trial, her defense team argued that the Countess of Chester Hospital's 'sub-optimal care' was behind the deaths and harm to premature babies, rather than the accused nurse. They claimed that the hospital was 'out of its depth' in treating premature babies and that some should have been treated at specialist units instead. Letby denies all 22 charges, including murdering seven babies and attempting to murder ten more.
