Scottish Vision Strategy Conference was organised by leading sight loss charities RNIB Scotland and Sight Scotland and took place in Edinburgh on the 8th of March 2023.
The theme of this year's event was ‘Building the Eyecare Support Pathway in Scotland’ and with over 140 delegates from across health, social care, government, the visual impairment sector, optometry as well as blind and partially sighted people in attendance, the goal was to discuss the main challenges and successes in eye health care across Scotland.
Our Paulina Kuchorew spoke with Anna Kynaston, Deputy Director of the National Care Service with Scottish Government, about an update on the National Care Service Bill and different ways we can get involved and make our voices heard.
