The roadmap which extended the transitional period by 24 months will officially come into effect today and is expected to run till the 23rd of February 2025. Addressing a briefing in Juba this yesterday, chairperson of the high-level committee, Cabinet Affairs Minister Martin Elia Lomuro said the roadmap is a guide to general elections which will be held by December 2024.
