Between the Lines: Understanding Scripture Through the Cross

In order to truly understand the Old Testament, we need to read it through the lens of the cross. This reveals a “shalom kingdom melody” in which we see a movement of redemption, God moving the people away from evil desires into a life guided by the Holy Spirit. We can learn to see glimpses of Jesus, the beauty and ugliness of the cross, and God’s redemptive faithfulness, throughout the whole of the Bible. (Michelle Knowles - February 19, 2023)
