Claire has a masters degree from the University of Oxford examining the history of gender identity and has worked with charities in areas from microfinance in Brazil to justice for survivors of violence in Uganda, and access to social protection for UK youth.

Prior to joining UN Women UK, Claire helped to drive McKinsey's UK office work on diversity and inclusion, including as an author of The Power of Parity, examining the macroeconomic effect of accelerating gender equality on UK GDP and beyond.
