A Noble Peace Laureate has challenged South Sudan Women leaders to focus on peace building and empowering grassroot women instead of wealth. Liberian Peace Activist Leyman Gbowee, who won the 2011 Noble Peace Prize alongside former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf is attending the Women’s International Conference on Transformational Leadership in Juba. Gbowee says women do not need to wait for donor funding or enough resources to participate in building the nation.
