Rising inflation in South Sudan and the Zimbabwean Perspective

An economic analyst Akol Nyuon Akol, says the government should stop importing goods such as food, fuel, and cement by encouraging farming and establishing industries to ultimately reduce imports and strengthen the local currency. 

In the short-term, Akol says the Central bank should find a way of controlling the current inflation. We also hear from Vhusani Marashe, a Zimbabwean who shares his experience of hyperinflation in the country 16 years ago and how many Zimbabweans coped with the changing economic situation.
