Round Table - Role of Civil Society in Constitution Making Process

A civil society representative says they fear the government of South Sudan might use Pope Francis visit as an excuse to delay meeting targets in drafting a permanent constitution, which is expected to pave the way for free and fair elections. Speaking on Radio Miraya’s Round Table program, the youth representative of the National Constitution Review Commission says already the government has missed several deadlines in the roadmap extending the transitional period.
