Between September and December 2022, the Civil Affairs Juba office in partnership with Central Equatoria State Women Union (CESWU) supported the reconstitution of 4 Women’s Associations Conference in the counties of Juba, Terekeka, Yei, and Kajo-Keji.
Morobo and Lainya counties will be conducted in January and March 2023. This is to promote women’s involvement and participation in conflict management, peacebuilding, and implementation of the Revitalized Peace Agreement. Right after the completion of the conferences, the women leaders were interviewed and have already spoken about it over the radio.
So, this time the discussion will be on mobile peace campaign for the cattle camp youths to promote peaceful co-existence amongst cattle camps in different parts of Terekeka County. These PAs are yet to be implemented in February 2023
