Cujo with Joe Cornish
Writer/Director Joe Cornish (Attack the Block, The Kid Who Would Be King, The Adventures of Tintin, Lockwood & Co.) joins Wampler and Vespe to take a bite out of Cujo, particularly how slept on the movie adaptation is. Along the way, the conversation turns toward his newest project, a fun Netflix series called Lockwood & Co, an update on his Attack the Block sequel, the differences between Cujo: The Book and Cujo: The Movie, and just what a not-so-serious current adaptation of this material could look like. Hint: it involves mauling a de-aged Jacob Tremblay and Clifford the Big Red Dog.
The topic of this week's show is Cujo. This story of a lovable family dog that turns rabid and tortures a poor mother and her young son in a tiny Ford Pinto holds up very well and today we dive into why we think that is.
