According to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office, the incident that resulted in the burning of a police car in Florida became a "soul cleansing moment" when the person responsible for the crime returned to the scene of the crime and began confessing to a list of failures.
This included professing to have a proclivity for engaging in "dumb things" and admitting to being a "professional arsonist," according to a news release issued by the sheriff's office on December 8th.
The peculiar confession was made on December 7 in an apartment complex in Spring Hill, where deputies came about 5 p.m. to find a patrol SUV that was on fire, according to the officials. About 50 miles to the north of Tampa is where you'll find Spring Hill.
