Entrepreneurs in Juba say the poor state of roads connecting the capital to other towns within the country is limiting their ability to expand due to the high transportation costs. This, in addition to multiple taxation has forced many businesses to center themselves within Juba. Founder and Creative Director Ashes 64, a Fashion House producing locally made clothing and accessories Aluel Manyang, says delivering goods by air is expensive and this forces businesspeople to hike-up their prices.
