American Holiday Horror Menu
There's a chill in the air and we hope you're feeling peckish because pop culture is on the menu! Whether you're looking for the mai tai killer or getting ready for the Guardians of the Galaxy to bring Kevin Bacon to your holiday gathering, there's so much good stuff to chat about, so get ready because as Mariah would say, it's tiiiiime!
Gather round dear listeners because the boys of Flame ON! are back with their first of four brand-new episodes for your listening enjoyment. First up on the docket for this month is a roundup discussion of the boys' favorite pop culture from November. Bryan takes you on a trip to New York for Ryan Murphey's latest season of American Horror Story, AHS:NYC. The regular cast of characters is joined by some new faces (and some new ears) as the train leaves the station, but does it jump off the tracks in true AHS fashion? Only time will tell! Erik takes you to the movies with a spoiler-free conversation about the new film from Mark Mylod, The Menu. The film gets rave reviews, but the boys want to make sure you can go into seeing it as fresh as possible, so don't worry about hearing something you shouldn't! After a brief pause for station identification the boys are back and BeeJay takes the conversation over to Netflix to chat about Wednesday from director Tim Burton. Is it creepy? How about cooky? All together ooky? Our crew seems to think so! Last but not least, Pat rings in the holiday season on Disney+ with James Gunn and the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. Did a holiday special centered around bringing Kevin Bacon to meet Peter Quill bring a tear to a grown man's eye? You better believe it! Before signing off, the boys also share their 1UPs! It's a fun filled episode and the boys are glad you're sharing it with them!
Sit back and get ready to FLAME ON!
